    Review Summary

The following is an AI generated summary of the reviews of the community from across the web.

The Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center has received mixed reviews from residents and their families. Some highlight the exceptional rehab program, attentive staff, and the facility's cleanliness, praising the new management team for their dedication to creating a comfortable environment for both long-term and short-term residents. The rehabilitation services, including physical and speech therapy, have been commended for their quality and effectiveness.

However, several reviews express significant concerns about the facility, including insufficient staffing levels, which have impacted personal hygiene assistance and medical care. Complaints about the quality of care, rude nursing staff, and issues with medication management have been noted. Some reviews mention the facility being short on supplies, including basic hygiene products, and concerns about the facility's cleanliness and meal quality have been raised.

Despite these criticisms, there are positive remarks about the friendly and caring staff, large private rooms, and the overall welcoming atmosphere of the facility. Some families have had very satisfactory experiences, highlighting the staff's kindness and professionalism.

On the other hand, there are serious grievances about neglect, poor patient treatment, and a lack of responsiveness from the administration, leading some to remove their relatives from the facility or to consider legal action. Concerns about the facility's ability to retain quality employees and maintain a clean environment have also been mentioned.

In summary, while The Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center has been praised for its rehab program and some of its staff, there are significant concerns about staffing levels, care quality, and facility management that potential residents and their families should consider.

I was planning on staying there for about 3 weeks ,to recover from surgery . After 2 days I would have crawled out ! Yes , I will say the place was clean , but staff for the most part , was lazy and uncommunicative. I did not receive the meds I was supposed to have . In one case the dose was wrong . I wouldn’t feed the food to a dog . ( tiny portions and nasty) . I was able to get a ride out of there and left after 2 days. I would not recommend this place to anyone . Repeated phone calls to try to straighten out problems got no response . It was only after I said I was leaving , that people came to make excuses for the lack of service and bad attitudes .
