Many highlight the exceptional care and compassion shown by the staff, particularly towards patients recovering from severe health issues. The nurses and aides are praised for their dedication to helping patients adjust and improve, focusing on both physical and psychological needs.
However, some experiences have been less positive, with concerns raised about the treatment of patients within the COVID unit, including delays in receiving medication and assistance. Despite these challenges, there are reports of significant progress in rehabilitation, with patients regaining strength and mobility.

The food and physical therapy services have generally met the expectations of residents and their families. Additionally, the Heights is commended for its community involvement, such as sponsoring events like the Coffee Club.
While there are instances of dissatisfaction, particularly regarding administrative decisions and the handling of specific care situations, many reviews express gratitude for the care provided. The facility is recommended for both rehabilitation and long-term care, with several reviewers noting the attentive and caring nature of the personnel.
Overall, The Heights appears to offer a supportive and caring environment for its residents, with a focus on cleanliness, professionalism, and compassionate care, though there is room for improvement in certain areas, especially concerning the COVID unit's operations.
Reviews
This is the worst place ever not even worth 1 star. My husband was here and had a pressure ulcer the size of a finger. By the time he left 2 and 1/2 weeks later it was the size of a fist. He was in adult diapers and would be left in wet or soiled diapers for an hour to an hour and a half. We can’t change anyone during breakfast lunch or dinner. Why? I addressed my concerns but nothing changed. I’m grateful he had to be taken to the hospital so they could verify the damage done. He is now in a much better facility that’s actually taking care of him.
