    Review Summary

The following is an AI generated summary of the reviews of the community from across the web.

Residents and visitors have shared a mix of experiences at Echo Ridge. The grounds are described as wooded and quiet, providing a serene setting. However, concerns have been raised about the removal of books from the 3rd floor library, which was a popular spot among residents. The staff receives mixed reviews, with some finding them okay and others praising their friendliness and knowledge, especially in maintenance and dining services.

The virtual tour and the efforts of the staff to showcase available units have been appreciated. Residents enjoy the sense of community, the variety of activities, and the quality of food, although some have criticized the food quality and responsiveness of the management. There are significant concerns about the facility's maintenance, particularly the non-functioning elevator, subpar food quality, and lack of promised cleaning services. The management's attention to these issues has been called into question.

Despite these concerns, many find the community appealing for its well-maintained exterior, sense of community, and the value it offers. The new manager's efforts to update decor and improve resident experience have been noted positively. The community's affiliation with Holiday allows residents to visit sister facilities, adding to its appeal.

Some reviews highlight a deterioration in the quality of services and management over time, with specific issues like non-functioning smoke detectors and lack of housekeeping. The staff's friendliness and the dining experience receive praise, and the community's location and range of activities are appreciated. The involvement and care of certain staff members, particularly noted managers, have significantly impacted residents' and their families' experiences.

However, concerns about the new ownership's neglect of the community's maintenance and the honesty of company representatives have been voiced by long-term residents. Despite these issues, the serene setting and the quality of meals are highlighted as positive aspects of living at Echo Ridge.

The facility was not able to meet our needs. After only being there a few hours,my dad had to be taken to the hospital. We are currently waiting for them to refund our money due to the lack of care.
