Reviews
New year, same Diplomat. The review about 3rd floor care (or really, lack there of) is accurate. My mom and I saw the same issues a year ago with my grandma--no clue how long it had been since she had a bath, her skin was sticky with sweat, debris under her nails, fungus on her feet. Complained to everyone who would listen. Nobody cares, not admin, head RN's, Saber Health, the Ombudsman, Ohio Department of Health, nobody. I'm fact, the facility will retaliate against you if you do complain about them by limiting your visitation or banning you all together. My mom and I had to go to Cuyahoga County Probate Court to get a court order from the judge saying they can't limit our visitation! Show up unexpectedly and the administrator will not let you see your loved one and tell you to leave. My reviews are constantly marked as spam by the facility so they aren't seen. You can't get ahold of anyone by phone. Unfortunately, the good people don't outweigh the bad apples. Everyone who works there is guilty of neglect and abuse by association in my book.
Staff retaliates against family members who complain about care of residents. I was banned and told not to return without a court order--judge said that was not neccesary. Impossible to get in touch with anyone here. I leave voicemails and don't get a call back unless I call incessantly. Senior staff is awful, care is awful.
