Reviews
I wish I could give ZERO or negative Stars!! DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITIES CARE!!! My Father was a Long Term Care resident for nearly 3 years. The care he received, or lack thereof was incredibly frustrating to put it lightly. When his needs became greater as time passed, the care he received just got worse. He ended up catching an infection in his leg that the nursing staff did not locate, however I did and he ended up in the ER because of it. That prompted a lot more concerns for his health and lead to a bypass surgery. Care plans were discussed with the Director of the facility, the Director of Nursing, his Social Worker & a Nurse who was the Unit Manager. However upon his release from the hospital for a major vascular surgery, the was NO care plan in place whoat so ever and they simply put him a COVID isolation unit which was against their So Called policy. He died 3 days later from what I believe to be the lack of care he was supposed to be receiving. This prompted an investigation from Arapahoe County Adult Protective Services and the Colorado Department of Public Health. There were findings of Neglect that we placed on the record of one or more of the staff involved in my Father's care. So again, I warn you, DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! If you have no other choice please be sure to document EVERYTHING!! They don't care for the people under their care. They are just a dollar sign to these places. The entire Nursing Home System is terrible and the worst thing any of us could do for the ones we love. I wish I would've known better before. I hope this helps someone out there from being treated like no human should ever be treated.
