Reviews
1/30/2023 The worst place, DO NOT put your family members in Balanced Healthcare formally Jacaranda> The worst Administrator and DON's, ever. My brother passed in the facility, after six months, he had an open wound on his bottom contracted Mercer, sent to the hospital for aspiration pneumonia, while at hospital they discovered the mercer, pic line, and antibiotic, sent back to Balanced health, died one and half week later due to vegetation on his heart values from the Mercer. Died on Saturday January 7th, notified by phone at 10:30pm by nurse on the floor, was told he died in bed, only to find out later they found him on the floor deceased. Since he was on the floor the police were called, and a report was filed, THE WORST PLACE EVER never once did the Administrator or Dir. of Nursing offer any condolences. They lied to me, my brother was loved, he had a family, that truly cared, that we hired a private company, to advocate on his behalf, 4 months before his death, the facility was not complying with our wishes for his care. We felt like they put us in a box and put us on a very high shelve!! I would call Balanced Healthcare, about my concerns, I would be sent to voice mail, and NEVER hear back from anyone hence we hired an advocate company. 20 outfits of clothes left in my brothers closet and only 3 pairs of shorts returned, Wheel Chair was caked in dry food, filthy dirty place, have seen roaches in his belongings kept in the drawer, in his room, on 3 different times we visited. We live 2 1/2 hours away from him, we tried to have him moved closer, but no facility would accept him. Due to his behavior, facility pick and choose who they want. PLEASE for the love of GOD be careful!!!! THEWORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!
